Well, let's meet the dreamhouse residents;)
McKenna Lorane Wright is our tiny dancer. She is full of life and insanity and she isn't afraid to say what she thinks. After a certain hour she becomes actually crazy.

She was the first roommate that I met. I was dropping by to check out the new apartment and she was here with her family moving in to her room. She saw me and said "Oh, I didn't think you were supposed to be here until later!" except she sounded a little weirded out that I was there. I definitely thought she was a bit of a punk (and she is ;)...but I love her to bits. We spend most of our free time together and we have a ton of crazy adventures. But those are other stories for other days!
McKayla Marin Traub is an absolute domestic goddesses, but she is also vivacious and hilarious. She is always baking something delicious, and she is the one of the kindest souls I have ever had the privilege of meeting. She says the funniest things (I think that she is the reason we started a quote wall)! She has an inner ghetto woman that occasionally busts out some crazy dance moves, and I would not want to get on her bad side
Actually, I don't think she has one. Unless you seriously piss her off. Which would be really hard to do. But in all honesty, she is the most caring, compassionate person in the world and she makes me smile on the daily.
Whitney Lynn Peterson. I can't even say enough about this girl. She is a quirky, witty, brilliant woman. She loves Merlin, Doctor Who, and Avatar/Korra. She is our resident nerd, both in pop culture-y stuff and in school. The child is actually a genius. She is a chemical engineering major, and she stays up till 3 AM EVERY SINGE NIGHT working on her homework. She is a rock star. She always shows genuine love and concern for all of us, and she is such a good person. Whitney is someone that I feel like I could talk to about anything and I wouldn't have to worry about being judged or being made to feel inferior. She never belittles people with how smart she is, even though she could totally school me in any subject ever. She is rock solid all the time, and I feel really impressed by her daily.
Caroline Neville is going to be a famous world traveler some day. She is super-model gorgeous 24/7 and she has this really cool, laid back style that makes me eternally envious. She is a 100% class act. She plays the cello, and even though I've never heard her play get this sense that she's fabulous at it because I stalked her facebook and she's met the dude from the Piano Guys, Steven Sharp. And I think that's really awesome. I haven't had the chance to get to know her super-well, but when she's home she has this quiet sense of humor that catches me off guard and I love it.
Breanna Karin Brown is the poor soul that has to share an actual room with me, and I apologize every day at how messy it is. She is INSANELY artistic. Like, it's crazy. She looooooves Batman. She puts up with me, which means that she has celestial patience. She has a beautiful, wonderfully loud laugh that always makes me smile. I am constantly stunned by her talent though. She has some of her artwork in our room and it is fantastic. She is a foody, like me. We get along so well. I was so worried about having a super crazy, type-A personality girl to share a room with and that we would end up hating/killing each other by the end of the year, but Bree is awesome.
Nicole Jordan Johnson doesn't actually live with us, she's our "plus one." It works though, because the apartment she actually lives in is the same apartment that adopted my roommate McKayla, so it balances out :) She is also the same person as me and my soulmate. She and I have the same exact sense of humor and it makes me so happy. She has a super chill vibe like all the time because she is from California. She also has flawless taste in music (guys we are going to a concert in Salt Lake next week. I am so excited). She is my favorite and even though we have only hung out every day for the last two weeks, I feel like I have known her my whole life. That's probably because we are the same though.... whenever one of us sees a cute boy or says something about the state of being single or anything the only appropriate reaction is to say "same." We have the same vocabulary and I love it. She is so great though guys. Nikki is so fine. She has a white girl on the inside and she is me, and she is my inner black woman and it is beautiful.
I am Nicole Marie Decker. I'm nineteen, I am a psych major and I live in New Heritage Halls at Brigham Young University. I love old things and music and clothes and looking pretty and makeup. I also love having ugly days and staying in bed until noon every day that I can. I love listening to people and I love BYU and life is so good here guys. I'm so excited for this blog though, like I can't even handle it. So bye!
